Neo Ouija Returns!

Well, the cat is out of the bag… One of the finest electronic music labels (purely subjective opinion of course) is going to be back and I still can’t believe I’m actually going to run it. Lee Norris aka Metamatics/Norken/Nacht Plank, the man who founded Neo Ouija in 2000 is still going to be a part of it all, but I’ll be running the everyday business of the label. Stay updated as we step back onto the music scene in 2007. Click the image below to visit our MySpace Page. We’ll soon have our own website and more info on the first releases.
In other news, a remix I did for Christian Rottler will be out soon on nd.baumecker’s Freundinnen label.
Between the Holidays

..is a good time to think about plans for the next year, which in my case amounts to some hefty planning. There’s lots of things coming up: First off, there’s (of course!) more STFUs planned for next year. First up is a three-day festival at the ESCatelier in Rome end of January, where I’ll be playing on Saturday the 27th. I’ll have to skip the STFU in Porto and Lisbon in March by the looks of it, but if you’re in the area you shouldn’t miss it. I’ve started work on a new album, hopefully will be finished by early summer. It will be a bit of a development from my last few EPs, I’m still trying to find a balance between grooving dancefloor tunes and intricate soundscapes though. Plenty of collaborations are in the works as well, plus a new top-secret project (unrelated to _my_ music) that I know will make many people out there happy. In the summer Millicent, Quip and myself are planning a roadtrip and some gigs on the westcoast US and Canada, but that’s still quite a ways off. Everyone have a happy christmas and a great new year 2007!
Here’s a work-in-progress of a track for your enjoyment:
Back in full swing…

Hello everyone!
After a couple of days of renovations regicide.org is back online, I hope you like the new look. Hardly anything is final around here, so expect things like text layout to change over the coming weeks.
So, what am I hoping to use this site for? The old one was a pretty static collection of tracks and old university projects. Well, that is supposed to change. Obviously, I will post a lot of music here, but I’ll also build a nice gallery section with both private and music-related galleries. So far, the video page only contains links to the documentary about the STFU Glasgow electronic music festival that I produced and directed, but I’m going to share videos from live performances , some basic Jitter patches (baby steps..) and clips from live visuals I created. Lastly, there will be a CV section for prospective employers and people interested in hiring me for their audiovisual projects.
In other news I’m really excited about my new EP called “Track Delay”, due out soon as first release on a very promising new netlabel from Scotland. It’s currently in the capable hands of John McCaig for mastering.
If you’d like to catch Deer’s new liveshow there will be a few opportunities to do so this fall:
- - STFU Helsinki, October 14 @ Dubrovnik (Helsinki, Finland)
- - tbc November @ Café Wagner (Jena, Germany)
- - STFU Glasgow 2006, November 5 @ The Admiral / The Hold (Glasgow, Scotland)
- - tbc December @ Ausland (Berlin, Germany)

Thanks for stopping by and see you soon. Any comments and suggestions, drop me a line.
